Pastor Carolyn Westlake is the pastor at St. Augustine Shores United Methodist Church. Pastor Carolyn has returned to Florida from her assignment at Pine Island UMC in Pine Island, Minnesota. She has a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. She lists her top spiritual gifts as preaching, relationships, community involvement, and empowering leadership. She is married to Dave and they have three children: Ashley, Franklin, and Joshua.
Suzann Maass grew up in Arkville NY and graduated from SUNY Oswego with a BA in Communications. She grew up in the Methodist Church and was always active in Jr. Choir, Sr. Choir and Youth Group. She leads the Contemporary service with today’s Christian music. Music has always been a vital part of her life inside or outside of church. It has helped her grow in her spiritual path with God and taught her valuable life lessons for work or play. When not at work enjoys her pets, gardening, swimming and reading. Suzann has been a member of Shores United Methodist Church since 1981.
Susan Corcoran has served as the Church Business Administrator for thirty years. Susan is the “go-to” person in the church office. Office hours are 8:30-3:30 Monday-Friday. Roger Woods is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Florida Junior College where he joined the Florida Junior Choral which participated in the Tulip time Festival in Holland in 1973. He has performed music in many churches and retirement community centers over the last forty years. Roger is happily married to his wife Debbie. He is the Traditional Service Choir Director at Shores United Methodist Church. He leads the Chancel Choir at the Traditional Service every Sunday. Roger is blessed to be part of the Shores United Methodist Church Staff. If you wish to join the Chancel Choir please contact Roger. Choir Rehearsal is every Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
